About RSS Ninja
Silent. Fast. Focused.
What is RSS Ninja?
RSS Ninja is a Firefox browser extension that lets you subscribe to websites and read content from multiple sources in one clean interface. Instead of visiting dozens of websites individually or scrolling through algorithm-driven social media feeds, you choose exactly what you want to read and see it all in chronological order.
At its heart, RSS Ninja uses RSS (Really Simple Syndication) - a decades-old technology that lets websites publish updates that anyone can subscribe to. It's how the internet worked before algorithms decided what you should see. We're bringing that simplicity back.
Why We Built It
If you've tried to find a good RSS reader for Firefox recently, you've probably noticed the problem: most of them have been abandoned. Extensions that worked perfectly five years ago now crash, freeze, or simply don't function with modern Firefox. The developers moved on, and users were left with broken tools.
We built RSS Ninja because we were frustrated too. We wanted an RSS reader that actually works, receives regular updates, and doesn't try to be clever with AI recommendations or social features. Just a clean, fast reader that does exactly what it's supposed to do.
The Problem with Modern Content Consumption
Social media algorithms decide what you see based on engagement metrics, not your actual interests. Email newsletters clutter your inbox and get lost among spam. News aggregator apps track your reading habits and sell that data. RSS Ninja offers an alternative: you pick the sources, you see everything they publish, and nobody tracks what you read.
Our Philosophy
RSS Ninja is built on a simple set of principles that guide every decision we make:
- No algorithms. You choose what you read. We don't hide content, boost engagement bait, or decide what's "relevant" for you.
- No tracking. Your reading habits are yours alone. We don't collect analytics on what you read or sell data to advertisers.
- No bloat. RSS Ninja does one thing well. We're not adding AI summaries, social sharing, or features nobody asked for.
- Actually maintained. We ship regular updates, fix bugs promptly, and respond to user feedback. This isn't abandonware.
- Honest pricing. No free tier with hidden limitations. No sudden price hikes. Simple, transparent pricing that lets us build sustainably.

Who It's For
RSS Ninja is for anyone who wants to take back control of their information diet. That includes news junkies who follow dozens of sources, researchers tracking multiple topics, developers keeping up with tech blogs, podcast listeners who want everything in one place, and YouTube subscribers tired of the recommendation algorithm burying videos from channels they actually follow.
It's also for people who value privacy and simplicity. If you're uncomfortable with how much data modern apps collect about your reading habits, or you're just tired of software that tries to do too much, RSS Ninja offers a refreshing alternative.
Made in the UK
RSS Ninja is designed, developed, and maintained by one indie developer in the United Kingdom. When you subscribe to RSS Ninja, you're supporting independent development, not feeding another Silicon Valley giant.
I read every piece of feedback, respond to support requests personally, and make decisions based on what's best for users - not what's best for advertisers or investors.
